1968 Olympics- Jim Hines

1968 Mexico City Olympics- American Jim Hines breaks the 10 seconds barrier for the 100 meter sprint. He comes in at 9.95 seconds, an all-time world record which he held for 15 years until Calvin Smith ran 9.93.  Hines won two gold in Mexico City, the other being the 4 x 100 relay race.
